I’m really enjoying the videos and the classes are great!! The only downside is that the app gets laggy on my phone sometimes, and it freezes or takes a while to load

I got a MasterClass gift membership and redeeming it was straightforward. The code worked on the first try, which I appreciated because I half expected some kind of hassle. A few minutes later I was already watching a class. Solid gift overall.

I’ll be honest, I mostly signed up because of the big names, and I’m sure they know that’s what gets people in the door. The Gordon Ramsay and Natalie Portman lessons were genuinely fun though — it kind of felt like getting advice from them directly, which was cool.

I actually liked some of the lessons, they were decent. But canceling was kinda more confusing than it needed to be. I thought I had turned off the renewal, then still ended up getting charged, which was annoying. Support did get back to me, just not super fast. Not the worst experience or anything, just maybe keep an eye on your billing date...

I went in assuming there would be a lot more hands-on lessons, but after a few classes I started noticing the same pattern: big-name instructors talking in broad, general terms without getting too deep into the actual process. I can see it being useful if you’re starting from zero, but if you already know the basics, it gets repetitive quickly. For the price, I expected to walk away with more practical skills than I did.

I went in thinking, okay, these teachers are well-known, so the lessons are probably going to be super insightful. But as I was going through them, I kept thinking, is that it? The content wasn’t bad, but it felt a bit surface-level and didn’t really go as deep as I hoped.

I downloaded a few classes before a long train ride and they worked the whole time without any buffering or crashes. I’m picky about paying for apps, so I was glad this feature actually did what I needed. Made the trip way more productive

The videos load fine for me, which is definitely a plus, and I’ve been able to watch lessons without much trouble. That said, finding my saved lessons can be kind of annoying, and the site feels a bit cluttered at times. I like parts of the experience, but it could definitely be smoother

I was hoping for way more variety, but it felt like the same few topics kept popping up over and over. At first I was like, okay, maybe it’ll change, but nope, it got boring so fast I practically lost the will to keep going. Maybe it works for some people, but for me it was just not enough to stay interested.

I tried one of the homework tips at work the very next day, it helped a lot. It was a small thing, like the way I wrote out the steps before starting, but it made the whole task feel less messy. I even noticed I wasn’t rechecking the same part over and over like I usually do.

I signed up mainly for the writing and cooking classes, the content has been solid. The lessons are short enough to fit in after work, which just makes sense if you’ve got a normal busy schedule. The instructors explain things clearly without overcomplicating it, and I’ve actually picked up a lot. Not every class is amazing, but that’s kind of expected with any platform. Overall, I keep coming back because it’s useful, easy to follow, and worth the time

Overall it works fine for our faMily, no real issues using it day to day. I just wish sharing between devices was a little easier, because the device limit gets kind of Annoying after a while

I tried watching the classes on both my laptop and my TV, and the videos kept buffering or just cutting to a black screen. My internet works totally fine with Netflix and YouTube, so I really don’t think it’s, it seems like it’s their player. It’s frustrating when you’re paying for lessons and can’t even make it through 10 minutes without everything freezing up.

Overall, the classes look really good and are easy to watch :) The only thing I noticed is the sound can be kind of uneven from video to video. Some are super clear and crisp, then others are quieter or sound a little flat. It’s not a dealbreaker, but for the price, I was hoping the audio quality would be a bit more consistent!

I’m kind of angry no one made it clearer how many classes are included. There are so many options that it actually feels worth the money, but I blame them for not explaining that upfront.

I’ve been liking these lessons so far because most of them aren’t super long, so I can usually fit one in during lunch or before bed. A few parts do feel kind of slow, which is weird because I also think the pacing is good overall, but I guess it depends on the topic. Either way, it’s been easy to follow and not too much of a hassle to keep up with.

I had a billing question after my trial ended, i wasn’t totally sure where I was supposed to ask about it.

Customer support got back to me the next day, which was faster than I expected, and they explained everything clearly. They also fixed the issue, without making me go through a bunch of back and forth.

I’m giving 4 stars, only because I wish the help page was a little easier to find. But, the support team itself was good, and the experience was smooth overall

I’ve been enjoying masterclass quite a bit. For me, it’s the kind of thing I like having around when I’m in the mood to learn from someone who really knows their craft. There’s already a solid mix of classes, and a lot of the instructors are interesting enough that I’ll watch even if the topic wasn’t originally on my radar.

The main reason I’d land on 4 stars instead of 5 is that the new releases can feel a little spaced out. I’ll check back hoping something fresh has been added, and sometimes there just isn’t much new yet. I’m still happy with the subscription overall, but I think I’d get even more out of it if new classes showed up a bit more regularly

The extra materials that come with the classes have been helpful overall. They work well for what I need, though I do wish the PDFs were a little cleaner or easier to follow. Maybe I’m just picky because I like having everything laid out clearly when I’m studying, but that would make it even better.

It works, and the captions are mostly fine, so that part is nice, but the transcripts can be a little frustrating sometimes. Like, I can get what I need out of it, but it’s not always as smooth or easy as I’d hoped. Maybe I just expected it to feel a bit more polished, but yeah, overall it does the job
